Spring Melt

Our home April 1st. Yes we live in a shop and love it :)

April 9th we went and visited our aunt and uncle we also dropped a truck off at the rtm site for one of Veela Builder's workers. When we came home at 12:30 am and our road was running over! Our car would not drive through the big hole the water created. Soo we both waded through the water and trucked up our driveway sopping wet. It made for some tired laughs and cold numb feet. We called the RM in the morning to come fix our road. 3 days later it was fixed. 

 I took pictures the next day and the water had gone down a little. We put boards down so we could walk across and not get wet feet. I dropped Stuart off for work at the end of the lane with the quad because our driveway is a 1/4 mile long. He considered it a hassle. It's pretty difficult to carry all your tools, papers, and equipment you need for work on a quad.  

The culvert the RM put in last year was much too small for all the water that runs off the hills.
